Hello, and thank you for stopping by!
My name is Sarah Katzel, I have a deep passion for animals, and love for photography. My first photo sessions started at 12, when I would take our family dog to a favorite outdoor location, dress him up, set the scene, and shoot until I was satisfied. He was a very patient dog. Over the years I have trained on the art of photography from high school, through college and beyond. I adore taking photographs of animals, watching them behind the lens to see what it is that makes them happy, content, relaxed, blissful, and then capturing that moment.
My goal for each session is to capture your pet’s unique individual qualities, and bring those to artistic life through pet portraiture. Your pet family is important to you, I will be patient, mindful, and do my very best to give you a gallery of photos to cherish. I am easy to work with, and always happy to hear your ideas, after all, you know your family best.

Fun Facts
Growing up I shared a home with dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters
On my own I’ve shared my home with dogs, chinchillas, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and a rabbit
Favorite animal - DOG! although I adore all animals!
I have a background in photography, composition, and graphic design
I am a mostly self taught photographer
I love flea markets, garage sales, thrift stores - always searching for a treasure
I am married, and a mom to a daughter
Most dogs owned at one time - 3 Basset Hounds (Banjo, Barney & Sarah)
I shared the same name as my dog for 15 years - she was adopted and already named
A comfortable place for me is having my dog next to me or on top of me
I am a fan of Scooby Doo and have collection of vintage Scooby items
About Eve
She is a mix, not sure of what exactly - but a perfect mix for me. She is a rescue from a local shelter, and it was love at first sight.
